The key to pets living long and active lives is being proactive about their health, from puppies to seniors. We strongly believe that good preventive care leads to good health for your pet, and we are committed to working with our clients to develop a wellness plan that works for them.
Puppy and kitten care
Congratulations on your new pet! Now it’s time to bring him or her in for a checkup, microchipping, and to ask us any questions you may have about caring for your new puppy or kitten.
It is so important to give your new pet a healthy start. We will work with you to develop a vaccination plan that is right for you and your pet and spend time answering any questions you may have as a new pet owner.
Adult cats and dogs should visit their veterinarian once a year for a full checkup and to make sure they’re exercising and eating a healthy diet. At your pet’s wellness exam, your veterinarian will also examine your pet’s mouth to make sure his or her teeth and gums are in good condition
Senior pet care
If your pet has reached 7 years of age, we consider him or her a senior and recommend twice-a-year visits to the veterinarian. More frequent visits at this age can help catch medical problems early, before they become serious.
